The story of Swami Vivekanand Rashtriya Dnyanpeeth began with a dream a dream to bring world-class education to the children of Jalgaon Jamod and surrounding regions of Buldhana district.

Inspired by the revolutionary philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, who believed that education is not merely the accumulation of facts but the manifestation of perfection already within a child, our founders set out to build an institution unlike any other.

Established under Navyug Shikshan Sanstha (Regd. No. MH/4358/BUL/1997), SVRD was born from the vision of educators, community leaders, and passionate advocates of quality learning.

The founding team led by President Adv. Girish Pandurang Malpande, with dedicated support from the Board of Directors ensured that the school was built not just on bricks and mortar, but on values, vision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

From its earliest days, SVRD set itself apart by placing the student at the very centre of everything. Teaching was never just a transaction of knowledge it was a joyful, meaningful journey.

The school celebrated Indian festivals and traditions within its campus, reinforcing cultural pride alongside academic achievement.

Over the years, SVRD grew from strength to strength. The campus expanded, modern infrastructure was added, and the academic programme was continuously enriched.

Today, SVRD stands tall with a multi-storied campus, digital classrooms, advanced laboratories, a government-recognised Atal Tinkering Lab, and a Junior College offering Science, Commerce, and Arts.

Our results speak for themselves. In the 2025 CBSE Class 10 examinations, Atharva N. Khirodkar topped with 96.29%, with multiple students scoring above 90%.

In Class 12, Prerna Gopal Nemade led the school with 83.17%. Our students have qualified for divisional-level sports competitions and represented the school in the prestigious Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition.

But more than rankings and results, the true story of SVRD is told by the thousands of confident, curious, and compassionate young individuals who have walked through our gates and gone on to make their mark in the world. That is the story we are most proud of. And it continues, every single day.
